I will prevent water runoff and increase absorbency by mulching the base of plants and trees at my home or work.

I will "hydrozone" my yard and garden so that low water-use, moderate water-use and high water-use plants are grouped together.

I will plant 25 square feet of native species, landscape with water-efficient plants in order to reduce general water usage, and minimize fertilizer and pesticide use.

I will reduce stormwater runoff, promote better air quality, and reduce CO2 from our atmosphere by planting 1 tree(s) in my home or in my community.

I will create 2 rain garden(s), bioswale(s), or use rain barrels to collect water for outdoor watering needs.

I will reduce polluted runoff and support groundwater recharge where possible by replacing 30 square feet of concrete with permeable surfaces.
