I will fix faucets or report leaky faucets to facilities that have been wasting up to 9 gallons (34 L) of water per faucet every day.

I will organize or participate in a volunteer community beautification project using eco-friendly gardening practices from one or more of the waterwise activities shown in Waterwise Beautification.

I will organize or participate in a volunteer litter clean up to keep trash from entering our storm drains and waterways.

I will reduce polluted runoff and support groundwater recharge where possible by replacing 60 square feet of concrete with permeable surfaces.

I will show my support for a favorite lake, river, stream, wetland or place along the coast.

An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When they ingest plastic, marine life has a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.

I will discover the power of my community working together by completing the WNMC Pledge and pledging to save 50. gallons of water.
