I will fix faucets or report leaky faucets to facilities that have been wasting up to 9 gallons (34 L) of water per faucet every day.

I will share an image or video of my project on social media and tag @wylandfoundation along with a caption highlighting the benefits of eco-friendly gardening.

I will prevent water runoff and increase absorbency by mulching the base of plants and trees at my home or work.

I will "hydrozone" my yard and garden so that low water-use, moderate water-use and high water-use plants are grouped together.

I will have an irrigation professional audit my irrigation system 1x per year to save water, money, and reduce runoff.

I will create 2 rain garden(s), bioswale(s), or use rain barrels to collect water for outdoor watering needs.

I will install a greywater catchment system in my home.

I will reduce stormwater runoff, promote better air quality, and reduce CO2 from our atmosphere by planting 2 tree(s) in my home or in my community.

I will reduce polluted runoff and support groundwater recharge where possible by replacing 10 square feet of concrete with permeable surfaces.

I will plant 200 square feet of native species, landscape with water-efficient plants in order to reduce general water usage, and minimize fertilizer and pesticide use.

I will save up to 12 gallons (45 L) of water a day by flushing only when necessary.
