I always pick up trash when out for walks. Rainfall carries trash into storm drains which leads to our oceans. I returned from a road trip and was disheartened to see so much trash in our National Parks.

The California coastine has inspired me my entire life. Keeping trash off the beaches and out of our watersheds that feed the ocean are critical in a healthy ecosystem and to protect our sealife. Beach erosion has been an ongoing issue and climate change will only hasten the damage. By reducing an overall carbon footprint, I can help slow climate change.
